MYDUS secured petrochemical project service contracts with HDEC

MYDUS, renowned for its specialized, reliable support services in the petrochemical sector, is proud to announce the acquisition of a pivotal contract, a testament to its status as an oil & gas support service provider. This announcement comes on the back of MYDUS's successful completion of the ExxonMobil GCGV petrochemical module fabrication support services, underscoring its ability to meet and surpass project expectations consistently. MYDUS has now been selected to lend its expertise to the Shaheen project in collaboration with Hyundai Engineering & Construction (HDEC).

The Shaheen project is poised to set a benchmark in the global petrochemical industry as one of the largest refinery-integrated petrochemical steam crackers, with a projected production capacity exceeding 3.2 million tonnes annually. It is a major endeavor operated by S-Oil Corporation, an affiliate of Saudi Aramco, with Aramco Overseas Company (AOC) holding a significant 63.4% stake. This project represents Aramco's largest investment in South Korea, amounting to $7 billion, representing Aramco’s largest investment in Korea. The scope of work in CHINA is around 50,000 tons of module fabrication.

MYDUS’s appointment to the this distinguished contract, fueled by its unparalleled reliability in delivering complex petrochemical projects and its proven excellence in past collaborations with big giant Korean companies, including the Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, Its expertise in trilingual communication (Korean, English, Chinese), specialized documentation, and local manpower sourcing capability further cements MYDUS’s role as the contractor of choice for the Shaheen project, ensuring its smooth and successful progression.
