MYDUS's Client delivered the 1st batch of FPS column sections

MYDUS is successfully providing the SHENANDOAH FPS lower and upper column block fabrication project support service to Korean global shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).

On April 6th, 2023, the first batch of FPS lower column sections built by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) for HHI were delivered smoothly. As the exclusive one-stop solution provider, MYDUS has supplied the high standard qualified service to HHI for SHENANDOAH FPS lower and upper column block fabrication project.

It’s certain that the project’s successful delivery is leading by HHI & COSCO’s close collaboration. And MYDUS’s flawless support services to HHI & COSCO is also one of key factor to reach a good result.

The opportunities and challenges exist altogether, especially in the beginning stage of project, MYDUS team faced heavy challenges to mobilize HHI site team to China in short period due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. However MYDUS overcame all the challenges through good cooperation with client and local & overseas institution and mobilized HHI site team in 2 weeks after contracts. As a rich experience service provider, MYDUS understand how important the local office to supply the timely and efficient service to the client. Therefore, MYDUS established Zhoushan office before the project starting and to provided Manpower, Relocation, Procurement and Emergency Support Services to the client. In the meanwhile, MYDUS management teams gathering all the available resource from another branch offices such as Nantong, Shanghai, Qingdao, Yantai to response for any requirement from Zhoushan and aim to supply the best service to our client.

MYDUS believe that the appropriate manpower resource is always the priority and crucial. To securing the appropriate manpower candidates for a short fabrication period is another challenge MYDUS faced. Fortunately, MYDUS recruiting team found proper candidate accordingly and provided successfully rely on our abundant human resource database, multiple recruitment channel, high efficient recruitment procedure and good reputation to maintain the long-term cooperation relationship with our consultants. It’s worth mentioning that MYDUS secured the candidates who can speak not only Chinese/English but also client native language Korean. Those manpower portion is more than 50% of local site team, we believe that leads good communications between HHI and COSCO, and it leads best productivity and understanding each other easily.
